Panels are made from galvanised steel. Galvanised steel is coated with a layer of zinc, which provides a protective barrier against moisture and environmental factors that lead to corrosion. For increased corrosion resistance, an EPOXY BASE COAT is applied to the galvanised steel prior to powder coating.
PIK V2 (Base Plate) maintains the same dimensions and clean design as the original version but features upgraded materials and manufacturing to deliver improved protection against the elements. In addition to the revised materials, a new stick-on PVC panel is applied to the underside of the base plate to shield fixing points and reduce the risk of damage over time.
Yes – all PIK models are fully compliant with AS1926.1 pool fencing standards.
There are no changes to installation however the PVC panel which has been applied to the base plate during manufacturing must remain in place during installation. Once installed, it is not visible.
We continue to recommend avoiding the use of harsh chemicals (e.g. acid wash) round newly installed fencing, as this can damage any surface coating.
We were unable to secure consistent supply of the original version and, as a result, could not reliably commit to project timelines. Rather than risk service issues, we chose to temporarily withdraw the product.
We’ve perfected the V2 manufacturing process in Black and will bring this to market first. White is more complex to produce due to its visibility to minor imperfections, but we’re actively working on it and will provide updates soon.
In the meantime, White PIK ‘Kit in a Box’ remains available.

Yes – due to the upgraded materials and enhanced manufacturing process, PIK V2 has a revised price point. Please speak to your Account Manager or Customer Service team for your updated price.
Despite the increase, PIK remains one of the most competitive and best- value systems on the market, and we don’t anticipate the new price being a barrier for your clients.
